Memoir Writing & Printing
A web platform that takes personal stories from the first chapter to a finished book. Writers can manage multiple books, explore a question library, refine their writing and design a cover before exporting or ordering printed copies. The admin dashboard connects content and translation management with customer support, gifting, print quality checks and fulfilment. The client supports 15 locales.
My role
I architected and built the customer application, Fastify API, PostgreSQL database and admin dashboard, defining the data model and API contracts across writing, editing, subscriptions and ordering.

Built cover-design and preview workflows with front, spine and back layouts, PDF generation and EPUB export, connecting the editor to a finished book format.
Making print orders inspectable
Connected RPI fulfilment to an admin review flow with content, photo-count and purchased-copy checks, plus recorded submission results and shipping details.
Moving legacy data to PostgreSQL
Redesigned the Firebase data structure as a relational model and built migration validation around existing records and relationships.
Managing content across languages
Built question and taxonomy management, translation coverage and edit history for a client with 15 locales. Managed QR redirects connect printed question cards to the web app.

A multi-book library with memoir, self-growth, loved-one and faith workflows, individual covers and progress tracking for each book.
AI Photo Enhancement
PicWish integration to restore and enhance old or blurry photos with before/after comparison.
Subscriptions & Payments
Recurring subscriptions, lifetime access, gift purchases, pause/resume/cancel flows and in-app add-ons.
Collaboration & Gifting
Organization workspaces with invite-based team access and editor/viewer roles.
Photo Management
Up to 100 photos per book with captions, HEIC conversion, EXIF-based rotation and automatic compression.
Gift & Contributor Management
Gift-account overviews, invitation status and writing counts, with access to shared contributors and subscription checks.
Administrative Access & Audit Logging
Viewer, support, support-admin and super-admin roles with action-level permissions, plus audit logs recording the actor, action and target record.
